I remember being Jen and Will’s Ashfield House Wedding Photographer like it was yesterday. The atmosphere was incredible mixed with a roller coaster of emotions.

The night before there wedding day it rained and rained like there was no tomorrow. Thankfully the next day the sun was shining with a beautiful blue sky.

Although the sun was shining for their wedding day the rain from the night before left the stunning landscaped gardens to wet to enjoy.

It was clear that all of Jen and Will’s wedding guest where their to celebrate their marriage and to have a really good time. Ashfield House was filled to the brim with lovely, fun and emotional characters.

I knew as wedding photographer especially at Ashfield House this wedding day had all the right ingredients to make this a wedding day never to forget!

Jen wasn’t fond of being in front of the camera, making my ninja documentary wedding photography style perfect for the occasion.

While observing I could see that Jen was very nervous. I just found my spot kept my camera low and didn’t move. After a few minutes it was like I wasn’t there and then Jen began to relax and enjoy her time with her Mum and bridesmaids.

Jen’s bridesmaids where so funny and filled the room with excitement. While her bridesmaid had their make up applied Jen began to get her wedding dress out of the bag designed by ENZOANI. Jen’s beautiful dress mimicked her completely being classy and sophisticated.

The story began to unfold naturally as I quietly observed and documented it. Jen’s bridal flowers where delivered by the incredibly talented ROSE BOUTIQUE.

Jen and her bridesmaids where in tears when they first seen the wedding flowers. It was such a beautiful moment to capture.

      WILL I AM

Will and his groomsmen loved the camera, selfies and oh yes of course every mirror in the house. They were all so much fun to photograph and document, each bloke had there own little funny way of expressing themselves.

The groomsmen and best man had so much love for Will. It was clear for all to see that they were all very close and proud of him on his wedding day.

Although there was plenty of goofing around there were also moments of tenderness. It’s my job as a wedding photographer to tap into both personalities and tell the story through my vision.

Ashfield House is an eye popper of a wedding venue. They believe being personal is key to their success. They openly say “Our house is your house”. That speaks volumes to me and I can honestly say, that’s exactly how it feels the moment you walk into this incredible wedding venue.

It’s like they give you the key to the front door and say “do whatever you want our house is yours for the next 24 hours”.

The Ashfield House wedding venue welcome is breathtaking. It’s like going to your Mum’s house for tea, it just feels like home as the house gives you a huge hug and a kiss!

Nothing is a problem! The wedding team and staff go the extra mile to ensure you and your wedding guest are enjoying themselves and your wedding day is flowing as it should be.

      Ashfield House Wedding Venue, Lancashire

This Lancashire Wedding Venue is like no other. You are free to explore and enjoy the beautiful landscaped gardens, stunning sweeping staircase, intriguing hall ways, bedrooms, library and of course the grand main reception room.

      The Gardens

Wow the landscape gardens at this Lancashire wedding venue are stunning. The sweeping lawns, lavender path and stone steps all surrounded by lush woodland is the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.

Just imagine you and your wedding guest enjoying pims or a glass of fizz on the lawn listening to the birds safe in the knowledge that it’s exclusively yours and your not going to be sharing it with the public.

Fire up the stone pizza oven on the huge terrace, soaking up the good times with your family and friends which you can enjoy into the evening.

Ashfield House provides the perfect setting for your bridal preparation, for you and the girls to ready in. It’s a great sized room with a settee, chairs, dressing table, plenty of mirrors and plugs for all your accessories.

The sitting room is perfect for getting ready together. Put your favourite tunes on, order the fizz and your all set!

Plus you can use this room throughout the day keeping your master bridal suite clean and tidy for you to later retire in.

      Ceremony Room

Just to give you an idea of the size of this gorgeous Lancashire wedding venue. Your ceremony room is completely separate to your main reception room.

Most wedding venue use the same room and perform a change over while you and your guests are enjoying drinks and canapes elsewhere on the grounds.

The ceremony room is a blank canvas flooded with natural light from the huge windows. The vaulted ceiling is a beautiful statement in the centre of the room.

You can dress this room as much or as little as you wish. In my opinion less is more.

It’s such a stunning setting for your wedding ceremony. Nice and airy with plenty of light and there’s more than enough room if you wanted a string quartet, pianist or harpist.

You and up to 120 wedding guest can enjoy fine dining during your wedding breakfast at Ashfield House.

The gorgeous bay windows and huge patio doors provide views to the terrace and gardens.

You and your guest won’t feel hemened in as the room is huge and it’s only a ten second walk to the bar.

Wanting to provide a safe kids entertainment room or hire a photo booth? Then the music room is perfect for whatever you want to put in there. It’s like a spare room at home, giving you the opportunity to use it as you wish.
