I recently had the pleasure of photographing Emma & Chris’s incredible wedding day. Emma’s morning bridal preparations took place in the George Hotel followed by a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony and celebration at the Sun Pavilion in Harrogate.

The Sun Pavilion is a stunning wedding venue set in the heart of Harrogate. I’m going to go into more detail about this incredible Harrogate wedding venue a bit later on. But what I can say for now is that the Sun Pavillion is a wedding venue like no other.
I tried something a little different
I do love having a virtual cuppa over a video call with all my couples. I tend to organise a few before your big day, this way when my bald head turns up with a camera in front of it you feel more relaxed.
Anyway, during one of our chats, I mentioned that I’d like to try something different.
Before you jump the gun I’m not saying that I’m the next Speilberg haha. I simply mounted my phone to my camera and captured a few clips and placed them into the photo film. Like I said just trying something different. If you like the idea of this let me know and I’ll buy the right equipment so it looks more professional.

There’s just something rather special once you step into Yorkshire. You have such a diverse selection of wedding venues from barn vibes to stately homes Yorkshire has it all. My favourite area has to be North Yorkshire in a town called Harrogate.
In my opinion, Harrogate is a wedding photographer’s paradise. As Harrogate is known as a fashionable spa resort you can turn your wedding day into a wedding weekend.

Your Sun Pavilion Harrogate wedding is, situated in Valley Gardens & has a long rich history in the town of Harrogate. It traces back to 1571 when William Slingsby discovered a mineral spring, Tewit Well, in High Harrogate, the first medicinal spring in England to have the name spa attached to it.
The Sun Pavilion and Sun Colonnade stretch along the east side providing a private and romantic location. You have one main function room able to accommodate up to 150 guests for an intimate event. Couples have a choice of two beautiful settings in which to have their ceremony, underneath the Art Deco glass dome, bathed in natural light, or outdoors on the covered terrace taking in the views Valley Gardens has to offer.
