Liz & Mark are beautiful people. I thoroughly enjoyed being there Rookery Hall wedding photographer.
These guys are the type of people that you could spend all day long with. They have so much love for their family and friends.
Spending time with Liz and Mark on the run up to their wedding day was a blessing. I always looked forward to our pre wedding meetings as I knew we would have laugh and a joke.
Rookery Hall is a very special Cheshire wedding venue located off the B5074 near the village of Worleston in Cheshire.
This fantastic Georgian style mansion dates from 1816 set in 38 acres of lawns and gardens. Believe me its a breath taking contemporary and stylish wedding venue.
More information below.
It was June and the weather was perfect, warm but not too sunny. As the wedding guests began to arrive I knew it was going to the perfect wedding day.
Liz and Mark’s wedding guests were all lovely kind hearted people and up for a good time.
As the weather was so nice guests that had arrived early enjoyed drinks on the patio soaking in the gorgeous atmosphere that this magical wedding venue provided.
Bridal preparation was taking place in one of luxury hotel rooms at Rookery Hall. I headed over to capture the moments.
The hotel room was filled with happiness and excitement. All the bridesmaids had matching dressing gowns and slippers on enjoying a glass of fizz.
The room was bathed in natural light pouring in through huge bay windows.
I asked Liz how she was feeling and she gave me a huge smile and said “I am nervous but can’t wait to walk the aisle and see Mark”.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room when Liz and her Father walked down the Aisle. The photographs show the raw emotion on the Father of the Brides face.
As a wedding photographer these moments are golden. Capturing these significant moments gives me a sense of purpose.
During the wedding ceremony both Liz and Mark couldn’t keep a straight face. They were constantly smiling and laughing. It was such a beautiful thing to witness.
The setting was gorgeous, fresh flower arrangements and vasts amount of light enteringing through the wall to wall patio doors.
After the ceremony everyone ventured onto the gardens to enjoy the views. The wedding guests were enjoying pims and ice cream whilst having a few rounds of croquet on the lawn.
Being a Rookery Hall wedding photographer is a delight. Surrounded by 38 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and made to feel so welcome by the wedding team.
Creativity is endless, on one side of the grade 2 listed building you have the Georgian Styled mansion and on the other side is a modern extension. They have been effortlessly fused together to provide an exceptional wedding day setting.
Wedding photography at Rookery Hall, Cheshire is a breath of fresh air. During the portraits stage of the wedding day I was spoiled for choice. As Liz and Mark didn’t want to spend too much time away from their guests I decided to keep the locations close to the guest.
Just after twenty minutes later I had captured a beautiful series of portraits in my signature style.
