I’m a pie and chips type of guy, down-to-earth and gifted with an ability to make you feel at ease as soon as you meet me.
My style of photography is known as candid or documentary. I capture your day as it naturally unfolds, photographing your day’s real emotions and beauty without asking you to pose.

Let’s be real, I’m no George Clooney and I dream of the day I can walk into Primark and fit into an XXL t-shirt.
We all have our own insecurities and mine is my weight. I’ve got love handles the size of sandbags haha.
Some people can own their insecurities and smash life and some people get on with it and paper over the cracks.
I’m here to tell you that I love every shape and body size, we all come from different walks of life and I don’t have a judgmental bone in my body!
Now, I know for some people like me, the thought of having my picture taken all day long sounds as fun as eating freezer-burnt ice cream!
But hey, what if I told you that it doesn’t have to be as fearful as you think?
It’s true, everyone loves natural-looking photographs filled with love, happiness and atmosphere and that’s exactly what you get! The best part is that you’ll never feel anxious and you’ll never be put on the spot to perform for the camera.
We probably have loads in common already and we become friends along the way. The aim is not be seen as your photographer, more like here’s Gav your friend taking pictures at your wedding.
For me, it’s all about trust and building a relationship. I’m a kind-hearted guy that gets a real kick out of helping people out.

If you would like them I allocate time throughout your day to organise 4-5 group photographs. Then get back to documenting the natural flow of your wedding day.

Some candid wedding photographers will allocate time to take photographs of the both of you.
If you guys would like photographs of he both of you. I suggest we take a little ten-fifteen walk around the grounds. This is the best way to have natural looking photographs of the both you as your not stood in an awkward pose.
Does a candid wedding photographer work from a scripted list?
Most if not all candid wedding photographers don’t work from a scripted list as we prefer to document the authenticity of your day.
Working from a list of instructions ruins the flow and gets in the ay of capturing those epic fleeting moments.
